ISVIII | “Come, Get To Me”
Multi-genre recording artist, ISVIII expresses his devotion towards a future bae in his latest single, “Come, Get To Me.” The beat draws from house and carries an oscillating xylophone progression, subtle hi-hats, and a dark piano number. At first, ISVIII delivers his verses with a melodic cadence. But once the forty-second mark intervenes, ISVIII begins to spit rhymes. This song, in particular, sees the “Come, Get It Right” emcee infatuated by a chick that’s one in a million.
As the two sip on some Goose, ISVIII cuts to the chase. He’s noticed that they’ve been getting closer, and because of this, he’d like to make this Mona Lisa his wife-to-be. After all, she is a masterpiece. Although she might portray him as a “villain,” ISVIII assures her that he’s “tryna make a killing.” The self-proclaimed hero is more-so concerned with making her happy and utilizing his 24 hours, the right way.
Vibes never lie, so he’d preferably come clean and admit his feelings towards her. In one verse, ISVII even raps, “I think I know ya/We just getting older/Come closer/Yeah/And that’s a fact.” Overall, ISVII will go the distance to “chase her like Usain,” but what he won’t do is “cross the line” if she isn’t ready.
As per his former Instagram story post, “ISVIII is a fearless yet loving recording artist that speaks on how eight emotions were so vivid in his life.”
