I.G | ‘Fed Up’, North Dakota Rhyme Slayer
I.G is back on Rap Fiesta’s radar with his latest release ‘Fed Up’. Making good on his promise of dropping 1 song a week for 20 weeks straight, his latest release ‘Fed Up’ is a testament to his work ethic. How many rappers do you know dropping 1 song every week for almost half a year straight? The answer is, not many. With this type of head on his shoulders, I.G is laser focused on creating a lane of his own.
Big middle finger to anybody hating, I’ma show you how to rap, let me give this demonstration. Graduated college, yeah I got my education. – I.G
We don’t know what they feed rappers in North Dakota, but it has to be a mixture of lucid flows and heaps of lyrical creativity. The manner in which I.G word crafts will have you believing he’s a vocabulary wizard. Most of these bars will surely go over your head. So, it’s highly recommended that when you blast this at high volume you pay close attention to what he’s preaching. I.G is not looking for any hand outs. He’s letting it be known that he’s fed up with the animosity thats surrounding his aura, and he combats it with lyrical precision.
With harmonious melodies filling the gaps in between verses, his vocal technique is embedded in experimental chops. The ominous and elusive production tie in perfectly to his coarse vocal that glaze the beat canvas fashionably. It’s refreshing to see a driven rapper out of the midwest who doesn’t waste bars, and focuses on delivering his message. His mantra is about staying patient, and being ready for the moment when it arises. With the trajectory I.G is on, there’s no telling what he can’t do.
It’s time to get out the mattress and stop sleeping on I.G, this next track is surely going to wake up the midwest rap community in loud style. Make sure to stay tuned with the North Dakota beat murder I.G, on his Instagram here.
