This week’s Rap Fiesta radio winner is Kevi Kiana.
Kevi Kiana is an up and coming R&B artist with a trap soul sound. Rap Fiesta was proud to witness an absolutely beautiful display of showmanship and vocal ability, as she was able to steal the show last Thursday while impressing a ton of viewers. It wasn’t an easy battle to the top in Week 16, but Kevi showed her peers that she is able to preserve with class, and skill- and not to mention the insurmountable amount of love she received from infatuated fans.
“Time After Time” gives Aaliyah vibes, with a simple, old school R&B beat. The lyrics tell a story about love and disappointment that comes from discovering a partner’s infidelity. Hopefully, none of us has had to experience this problem, but that didn’t stop Kevi’s pen game from pushing the illustrious mental image in your psyche.

“Time After Time” covers subject many women can relate to and captures the anger and pain of finding out a partner whose cheating. The song is calm and soothing as if it was meant to heal wounds that were caused by this fallacy. It has a similar style to Aaliyah’s classic song “Four-page Letter”. The melody is simple and catchy.
