CAL. | “Strangers”, A Project With A New Sound

CAL. is an artist with the ability to create a multitude of sounds on one project. His latest project “Strangers” is a testament to his adaptability and flexibility as an artist. “Strangers” is a collaborative album featuring artists from different states and countries. Showcasing all the talent I personally found from submissions and networking. “Halloween Town” featuring John Concepcion is a standout track and is a perfect track to start off the project. Despite the eerie title, the song is an upbeat R&B crossover track with real lyricism and a catchy hook.

“My Life” is another stand out from the project. “My Life” features Trenten Priest and Ladi Rock. The track captures the energy of Young Money songs from the mid-2000s with an updated twist. It is a motivational song that demonstrates the lyrical ability of all of the artists featured. “Spiritual” is another heavily lyrical track that features storytelling elements. Cruize FX and &RADE are featured on “Spiritual” and provide balance to the track creating a variation to keep the listener’s attention. “New Day” feat Mikyla Cara, B.Russ and JLA is another unique track on the album.
