I heard the beat for full clip at a time when I was making a big move and I decided to shoot some videos and features out in Cali. I had zero contacts or connects and I never stepped foot in Cali before that trip. I did all my research before heading out there and I was able to secure a feature with Dreah. Usually when I do features I try to find a beat that the other artist would go crazy on, and I adapt my style to it. At that time it was almost like everything was against me going on that trip a lotta negative things kept happening, but I pushed through, and when I sat down to write my verse you can hear the anger and hunger in my voice of what was going on around me. I start the song off with “it’s all about the time and the place, well I’m done with the wait, we gon mothafuckin get that”. That’s me pretty much saying I’m done sitting and waiting for opportunities I’m done asking to be apart of shit I’m just doing my own thing. And that’s exactly what I did. I shot three videos in three days with two up and coming artists that are on their way to be big.
