Zoot | “I Do This” feat. AR Voltage, High Energy ATL Bop
Tehran born but ATL raised artist Zoot is back with a vengeance with the release of his latest song “I Do This” featuring AR Voltage. The song was released on July 9, 2021 and features Zoot ripping up the Pharoah beats record with a fury of catalyzing bars. The record is high energy, and one that showcases a hungry Zoot in full throttle.
“I Do This” totes an infectiously catchy hook that features Zoot sliding in and out of pockets with ease. The essence of the record lies in Zoots appreciation for his team and those closest to him. His approach on the record makes the listener feel included into his personal clique, and that’s a special ability of the Iranian born rapper.
“I Had To Pick Myself Up Off of The Floor… You Know My Heart’s Still In Tehran.” – Zoot
The nod that he gets from AR Voltage is similar to Bizzare’s role in D12. It seems as if AR’s sole mission was to set the track ablaze with fiery & quick-witted bars that denote his cadence & provide an enriching spark. The two simply dominated on this record, and the way that Zoot approaches his release strategy is even more exciting. He plans to give us a release every 2 weeks, along with a music video until the end of 2021. To add pack to the punch, he’s been dropping monthly tapes through 1122 Records with his latest 4-track EP ‘Tehran 2 Atlanta‘ that features young & budding Atlanta talent to highlight.
