PHARAOH LONDON | “Say Something”
PHARAOH LONDON‘s new single “Say Something” truly hones in on the saying of not knowing what you have until it’s gone. Guiding the lyrics with reminiscence and honesty, the musician confesses to not doing right by his significant other. Although he’s patiently waiting for another chance, PHARAOH says time waits for no one. Life is too short not to enjoy it. He supports this claim by reminding her that there are plenty of fish in the sea.
Using a triple flow, he spits
“Put chu in yo place, I don’t play games/Don’t play with my name/I had girls lined up you was number one.”
This passage is followed by an “aha” moment. Moreso, he realizes that she might not be his better half.
“Thought chu was the one, but chu not the one/Even though we in love, you not the one,” he says.
Toward the end, PHARAOH circles back to repair this broken relationship. He immerses in vulnerability to prove his everlasting devotion.
“I just want ya hands on me baby, hands on me/Baby can you bounce with me, bounce with me/I just want a chance baby, chance baby,” he delivers.
“Say Something” is the first single off LONDON’s upcoming EP Platinum P.
