[602] Prophet brings a suave, cool-moving song to Rap Fiesta’s platform with his latest single, “Right Now.” [602] Prophet and featured artist Joey Freco keep things mellow while simultaneously delivering genuine, top-notch bars. 

The South Phoenix, Arizona rapper has been writing songs since middle school. But [602] Prophet was inspired to take music more seriously once he reached high school. The rest is history, and the collected rapper is now accustomed to spilling elite bars. 

[602] Prophet was inspired to create “Right Now” after spending time with West Coast artists Jay Worthy, Larry June, and Dom Kennedy. The rapper wanted the track to carry a West Coast feel. 

Additionally, [602] Prophet wanted “Right Now” to motivate people to follow their dreams and put fear behind them.

The 602 part is the area code of South Phoenix, Arizona; I just wanted to rep my city anywhere I went – [602] Prophet, on the origin of his stage name. 

The other half of [602] Prophet’s stage name is a double entendre. The rapper explains that a prophet is a messenger of God, and he immediately connected to the title. That said, the Arizona artist strives to deliver meaning through his music, portraying the “prophet” part of his name. Also, “prophet” means “profit” to the rapper, as he’s always focused on staying solid financially. 

Overall, “Right Now” is the perfect song for a late-night kickback, whether you’re chilling alone or with a group. The mellow overtones are a vibe, and [602] Prophet’s lyrics and flow will stick in your head and maintain your attention.
