Commenced by a lush flute and piano loop, glibs admits he has a “Soft Spot” for someone special. Passionately declaring his love in two minutes and forty-two seconds, the artist tells his soulmate that she’s on his mind 24/7.
Although the two seem love-struck, glibs wonders why her actions and words don’t match. Hinting that she gives off a “hot-and-cold” demeanor in the relationship, he sings
“If I’m being honest with you/I don’t know if you would know what good was/Even if it bit your nose off/Are you hot or is the stove off/Girl you really got me thrown off.“
He expresses how his queen’s switched behavior makes him feel unappreciated. Moreover, glibs suggests that she shouldn’t take his feelings for granted. Although the musician’s devotion is as clear as day, he’s unsure where they stand.
“What does it mean when you tell me that you love me/How come every time I write a song it ends up being bout you,” glibs sings.

After a few years of beat making, glibs put out his first project, “Just a Kid,” in 2016, featuring his first big hit ‘Waves.’ Having reached a few million listens on streaming platforms, he stayed at work to create more music. Following the success of his first project, he decided to pursue music as a career and began studying at the renowned California Institute of the Arts.
