Up-and-coming rapper from California, Kaarmaa., throws down a mean freestyle in “Sigma’s Anthem” that you simply can’t pass up on. The track is nearly four minutes of epic bars, punchlines, double entendres, and much more, all inspired by some of hip hop’s greatest minds.
Kaarmaa. has been generating top-notch tracks since 2014. And after taking a recent three-month break from the music game, Kaarmaa. came back (as it always does) and dropped something unexpectedly powerful for his audience. Kaarmaa. knew that as he reappeared in the music world, he had to bring something hot. That said, “Sigma’s Anthem” takes no breaks the entire time Kaarmaa. comes through.

Part of what makes “Sigma’s Anthem” so much different from Kaarmaa.’s past work is the style. Kaarmaa.’s traditional sound is anime-inspired. However, Kaarmaa. wanted to delve into the more traditional world of hip-hop. And what better way to do so than with a freestyle?
Further, Kaarmaa. drew inspiration for “Sigma’s Anthem” from some of hip-hop’s greatest minds. Some of these names include Jay-Z, Nas, J. Cole, and 2Pac. But the rapper that Kaarmaa. drew the most inspiration from was Eminem. From a lyrical perspective, Kaarmaa. wanted to create something as electric and hard-hitting as what Eminem is best known for.
Kaarmaa.’s latest track also carries a lot of personal significance for the rapper, as it was the first time he experimented with various elements. For example, “Sigma’s Anthem” marks the first time Kaarmaa. collaborated with a professional mixing engineer. Additionally, “Sigma’s Anthem” is Kaarmaa.’s first time freestyling on a track. However, based on how hard his freestyle hits, it’s difficult to believe Kaarmaa. hid this talent from the world for so long.

At various points, it’s almost impossible to hear the difference between Kaarmaa.’s voice with Eminem’s. Kaarmaa.’s high-energy flow ends each bar with a popping emphasis on the last word, just like his idol.
On top of that, Kaarmaa.’s allusions, metaphors, double entendres, and similies are incredible. The number of examples where the rapper lays down clever wordplay is impossible to count. Each time you think Kaarmaa. is about to take his foot off the gas, he only presses harder.
