Arigon | ‘Next Level’ Depicts Mindful Bliss
Arigon has grabbed Rap Fiesta’s attention for a second time with the release of his album ‘Next Level’. The Chicago artist is truly in possession of a sweet-sounding album with mesmerizing instrumentals. The catalog offers up blissful sounds, and is paired with open vulnerability. Arigon truly wants the listener to enter his thought process and does so beautifully. “The album is 40 minute ride through my subconscious”, he tells Rap Fiesta of the remarkable project.
Battling my demon’s, conquering my fears
He opens up the project by inviting the listener into his headspace- unapologetically freeing himself into the music. He delicately sprinkled bouncy lyricism over soulful instrumentals on tracks such as, ‘Gemini’, where you hear the soothing voice of a female sampled and pitched an octave down looping throughout the tracks lifespan. Not a lot of artists can pull that off on tracks such as these, but Arigon executed elegantly. On tracks such as ‘Another Night‘, he displays mindfulness of living in the moment and promoting awareness of your surroundings. The vibe on this is surely a feel-good, light hearted depiction of how to enjoy the little things in life. The talented rapper practices self-reflection and appreciation throughout the entirety of the 10 track project. His experimentation and execution of flows seem to be easily called upon in this project.
