Alley Rocket | ‘Apollo Boy Deluxe Edition’
Alley Rocket ‘s Apollo Boy Deluxe Edition follows the lead of its predecessor. The previous tape dropped in 2020. Like Apollo Boy, the follow-up induces fans with a myriad of hyperactive-like instrumentals. Instead of adding songs to the current tracklist, Rocket gives us a new batch of records to bob our heads to.
In the words of the musician Apollo Boy Deluxe Edition, is “a lot more to follow and expand the universe in a good way.”
The beats in question revive trap elements with 808s, intergalactic arrangements, and wobbly basslines. Other times, R&B and lighthearted lofi loops are thrown in the mix.
What’s even more appealing is his versatile flows. The rapper never misses a beat when using either a melodic or highly-energetic one. Regardless of the track, you can expect the New Jersey star to drop his bars in an original fashion.
Themes on Apollo Boy Deluxe Edition see Alley Rocket rapping about his all-or-nothing approach to obtaining stardom. He also discusses former friends/partners, life experiences, and never folding under pressure. Every now and then, Alley Rocket sends warning shots toward his opps and revels in his success.
“It’s building on to the original story and coming into my full sound,” he adds. “Moreso where I want to take things as an artist. My grand scheme for everything was being able to enjoy the music I like to hear and having fun while making it.”
He continues, “I hope listeners find their new favorite artist and a movement to believe it with a story. An aesthetic. A concept and an artist who is trying to push boundaries. The only competition I have is myself. I will always be a student. I want my fans to see the growth within both projects, and I’m certain that I will continue growing as an artist.”
His smash hit “Hello” is based on personal experiences. So the process was natural and easy.
He says, “The message behind “Hello” is not knowing when to speak up and wanting redemption.”
Over the galaxy trap beat and heavy bassline, Alley Rocket taps into his feelings to speak on a relationship. Their strong connection is undeniable, but his sweetheart isn’t certain about how the rapper feels. So this song gives him leeway to set the record straight. In short, he’s in awe of her but isn’t trying to come off too strong.
“I promise I just wanna get next to you/I wanna call you and hear you, but I end up texting you,” he raps.
As the song continues, he displays a wide range of self-awareness, expressing that he’s looking for more ways to grow. The rapper also takes time to enjoy the fruits of his labor.
Alley Rocket’s favorite line from “Hello” is “me and the stubbornness I recognize we identical.” That’s his favorite line before it’s the truth. He enjoyed the whole process of the music video. His favorite scenes are the parts with colorful art. Also, shooting fun memory scenes with the costar.
The musician’s family, team, and supporters keep him motivated every day to keep pushing. Through depression, dought, without knowing which way to go, they assure him that he is moving in the right direction. They give him a piece to come back to music and give them more of himself. He appreciates them every day for that.
Keep your eyes locked on Alley Rocket! He has more songs and visuals premiering soon.
