Aris Ray and G Rhodz are Rap Fiesta Radio’s Week 8 Winners

Aris Ray and G Rhodz track “Put It“, blew the competition out of the water this past week.

Aris Ray is an artist from Cincinnati Ohio who now lives in Los Angeles. He is a top notch lyricist that draws inspiration from Kid Cudi, Kanye West and Lil Wayne. His project with G Rhodz “Closure” was inspired by New York artists A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg.  Producer G Rhodz has produced for artist such as Wakai Taft, $teven Cannon, Lil Satan, Dior Dean, and SIAH. He specializes in hip-hop and trap beats and draws influence from Murda Beats, Ronnie J and Tay Keith.

“Put It” is a track on the end of the Closure project that lightens the mood and feel of the album. Most of the other tracks have a hard, aggressive sound. “Put It” has a salsa inspired melody and a fun upbeat tempo. This track showcases Aris Ray and G Rhodz versatility as creatives. Aris Ray’s flow on this record is not predictable, and he has a unique way of shaping his bars around the rhythm of the instrumental. Each verse the flow switches up to create a new sound and make the song fun to listen to. G Rhodz created the track as a tribute to LatinX music, and successfully recreated the sound while infusing it with a classic trap style beat. Look out for G Rhodz up coming single “Who Dat” with artist Wakai Taft releasing June 19th.
