Blake Fades | ‘SET’ Oklahoma Hip-Hop
It’s not every day that you stumble upon an artist, especially a Hip-Hop artist, that is from Oklahoma. Luckily, we stumbled upon Blake Fades, and we are excited to say the least. The rapper’s latest offering, ‘SET,’ is an anthem that has the ability to keep the summer alive as it slowly becomes fall.
Produced by IanoBeatz, ‘SET,’ contains catchy bells and an 808 that smacks hard enough to blow your windows out. The track starts off with an enchanting and easily memorable chorus, leaving listeners wanting more. After hearing the song, you will immediately want to put it on for your (you guessed it) set.
Blake states: ‘They be talkin’ they be watchin’ they impressed!’ And that, we are.
Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma and moving around Dallas, Blake’s music sounds universal, making it approachable and fun for all. After perfecting his craft over the years, has created a one of a kind style: One that is both versatile and will constantly keep anyone’s attention. His musical inspirations vary from Dom Kennedy to Poison to Hank Williams Jr., explaining explaining the unique sound he has developed.
After speaking with Blake, Rap Fiesta obtained info on his upcoming project titled, ‘Southside Cowboy.’ This project is a display of his southern roots with a mix of influence from the city life he’s also lived.
Now we can’t tell you too much about the project, but this is one you won’t want to miss.
‘Hold up wait… I feel good today!’ Us too, Blake.
