CamilosGarden | ‘Sad Summer EP’ Review
CamilosGarden has not stopped dropping heat all summer long. The artist melodically flows through each song on his recently released project, ‘Sad Summer EP,’ with emotional lyrics that hold a deep meaning to the artist. With four very stylistically different beats produced by Alex R, Pacific, and Eem Triplin, listeners are able to experience the artist’s diverse vocals in an R&B feel, a slow interlude, and fast paced Hip-Hop/Pop vibes.
After losing a close friend in a tragic car accident and suffering heartbreak, Camilo uses his experiences to influence and deliver his project in the unique way only he is able to. With that, the ‘Sad Summer EP,’ was created.
The 17 year old, Queens-based artist attributes his musical inspiration to Joey Bada$$, Capital STEEZ, Drake, and Kid Cudi (just to name a few). The artist was also raised around a mixture of latin pop and salsa music, thanks to his Colombian parents.
Additionally, Camilo is part of a collective called WinWithoutWeapons (W3). With their first official release dating back to 2017, Camilo has a clearcut vision for W3 and with the collaboration of artists, athletes, designers, videographers, and photographers in the group, they are bringing this vision to life – Winning Without Weapons.
Keep a close eye on CamilosGarden as he continues his journey to the top.
