DaRoyal | “ALLNIGHT”
DaRoyal might not be a name you are familiar with, but he is someone that should definitely be on your radar. In a somewhat saturated industry, we are constantly searching for artists that are able to catch our attention with something new, something different. DaRoyal’s raw talent stood out immediately with his new track “ALLNIGHT”. He is setting the standard for the future of music with 1 minute and 31 seconds of smooth vocals, insightful lyrics, and a dynamic instrumental.
Portland, Oregon based artist DaRoyal worked with producer Hokatiwi, who used bright synths and keys throughout the track, which nicely contrasts the rappers lower vocal tone. The riffs and melodies used in the production are all unique and stand out. Hokaitiwi used a full sounding bass drum and trap inspired hi-hats and snares as well. This track is extremely well layered with distorted vocals, harmonies, and ad-libs moving throughout the song. Although there are many parts to the production, they work seamlessly together allowing DaRoyals voice to maintain the forefront.
When DaRoyal talked with Rap Fiesta about his inspiration for this track, he explained that he wanted to express why he makes music and what he wants to accomplish with it. This artist is clearly an incredibly talented lyricist as “ALLNIGHT” is filled with complex lyrics and similes. He discusses his drive and work ethic, prioritizing his music and his family before anything.

This was DaRoyal’s first video and I can confidently say the visuals and song together are extremely high quality. “ALLNIGHT” was mixed to create an atmospheric and polished track. DaRoyal’s vocals are clear, allowing the listener to really tap into what he is expressing. Through the natural ups and downs in life, there is still tremendous opportunity to accomplish your goals, and this song inspired me to find my motivation to create.
In the future, we can expect this talented upcoming artist to continue to drop visuals and content. We are thrilled to continue to see DaRoyal’s development as an artist as he builds his brand and gains exposure.
