DDPresents | “MIA”, A Star-Studded Hype Record
Rap Fiesta is proud to feature our latest rapper, DDPresents, and his latest collaborative single, “MIA.” In a shared effort with $teven Cannon, Crape, Nessly, and Paycheck, DDPresents crafted a hard-hitting track with classic hip-hop and emo rap influences. “MIA” will bump through your speakers as it’s powered by a thumping bass and distinct vocals.
The Camas, Washington, the rapper was motivated by futile hate from strangers to create “MIA.” But, instead of letting the negative comments stop him from making music, DDPresents put that energy into his craft. As a result, “MIA” is packed with genuine emotions you can relate to if you’ve ever been in a similar situation.
The song MIA came about because I had a thought in my head that when everybody around you wants to hate for no reason, and all you want to do is stack up your own money that people try to drag you down about – DDPresents.
Although he’s only 18 years old, DDPresents has been toying around with music since the young age of 13. Because he’s spent so much time finding his sound, that confidence and self-assuredness fuel DDPresents‘ vocals on “MIA.” Also, DDPresents only recently started taking a more concentrated effort with his music career, so you can count on the fact that he’s only going to keep getting better.
Regarding the beat featured in “MIA,” one of the first details you’ll notice is a commanding bass pattern. Like most trap songs, “MIA” incorporates a thumping bass that’ll shake through the speakers. This dynamic energy is juxtaposed with a softer, high-pitched melody and hi-hats. When all the elements fuse together, it makes for a rhythm you can’t help but catch a vibe to.
Another aspect that complements the darker, more aggressive tone in the beat is DDPresents‘ vocals. As he moves between bars, DDPresents effortlessly switches from a screamo-like style to a more relaxed tone. In addition, DDPresents always assures you stay engaged throughout “MIA” with a powerful chorus.
Of course, “MIA” wouldn’t be the same without any of the featured rappers on the track. Each time a new artist makes their way onto the song, the energy and general tone of the track never falters. Also, every artist has their own unique style, so you never know what to expect next. Not only does this make the song engaging, but it also assures it doesn’t sound like any other song out there.
