The illustrious rapper paints a picture of the history and pain black people have faced and are still facing. The tone of the song becomes more aggressive until around 2 minutes into the track. This is a break in the song that starts off with gunshots. The beat slows down and a speech from a civil rights activist plays. Don Jayy goes above and beyond with “Levitate” and helps listeners feel his pain in every bar.
