HeemTheGreatest | An Artist Whose Pain Is Seen As A Strength
If you want the smoke, best believe that HeemTheGreatest will ignite the flame along with his hittas. In a nutshell, the singer/rapper is transparent through his music, often detailing his wins and losses. But on the other hand, HeemTheGreatest is a prime example of a rose that grew out of the concrete.
With these things considered, it’s safe to say that in lyrics, HeemTheGreat speaks on an upbringing full of hardships and life lessons yet also one where he’s found friends that’ll ride for him at all cost. Take, for instance, his song, “Trippin (feat. Lil Crank).” In one line, he raps, “Told everybody bout my pain, and till this day, I ain’t get no damn hug.”
Sonically, HeemTheGreatest finds solace in trap symphony offerings full of bombastic basslines. Vocally, however, the artist oscillates between a melodic auto-croon and swift rap pattern. To add some flair, HeemTheGreatest lets his Southern drawl take control of the verses and hooks.

Born Briheem, the musician put his all into music two years ago. Granted, Heem was fiddling with sound since his younger years, but he decided it was time to make his artistry into a full-time job. “Falling out with a lot of people made me go harder and stay out the way,” he adds. “This blessing in disguise also made me work on my craft more. His moniker, Heem, is apart of his government name.
Inspired by T.I, Heem pushes himself to go hard like the Atlanta artist. “Knowing I have to make my day productive gets me going. Plus, I know where I’m at and where I want to be. Therefore I’m waking up every morning till I get to where I want to be in.” he continues.
Before laying out his hardest bars in the studio, Heem will roll up and get straight into it. One day he hopes to collab with emerging rap megastars, Polo G and Lil Durk. A song that Heem had fun creating was “Plan B” because he constructed the hook and freestyled the verses. His strengths in music entirely are his collaborative verses and pain hooks.

He considers this a super ill verse of his, “Momma said she hope I don’t make a dollar because this music shit in my soul/I said I bet you eat a dollar/she said not even on no clothes.”
Moving forward, Heem will drop a mixtape and three visuals. His advice to upcoming artists is to keep going. “You can only stop yourself. Nobody else can.”
