K-Proetic ft. Kid Pro | “I Rap Rap”
Contrary to belief, there is R.E.A.L music coming out of The Garden State.
Defined as “a lyrical sparring session with the homie Kid Pro,” New Jersey native, K-Proetic’s “I Rap Rap” shows that these two rap veterans possess above-average cadences, entendres, punchlines, and other rhyme schemes.
Embodying the “poetic ministry” feel, “I Rap Rap” makes sure to draw inspiration from church choirs. The song takes it further by approaching their lyrical prowess with a golden slate of boom-bap. Case in point, there’s no simplistic way of thinking from the duo. Both go right into it, as Kid Pro verbally notates in the first scene of “I Rap Rap.”
Laying it out in black-and-white (both symbolically and literally), K-Proetic starts off his verse, showing no signs of slowing down, as he speaks about “killing the inner peace of his visible enemies,” facing beats head-on with “melodic soliloquy’s” all the while proving that people need to HEAR him. Realistically, K-Proetic has bars that are substantial by nature.
Next, the rap socrete, Kid Pro matches the energy of Proetic, as he uses an array of entendres and punchlines. Without much effort, he leaves mumble rappers merciless, “I’m sick as killing sharks up in the ocean with a water gun,” At one part, Pro even goes so far as to say this brilliant, hilarious line, “Beautiful symphony of murder that your boy composin’/Y’all are third grade recitals, this here magnum opus.” Aside from speaking about their god-given talents, Proetic and Pro bring awareness to historical figures/societal misconduct.
