Krush Jackson | An Artist Who Lives In The Now
Krush Jackson is an artist who lives life to the fullest. Since tomorrow isn’t promised, he goes hard on a daily basis in order to make his dreams a reality. However, Krush Jackson proceeds with pre-caution because not everything is all fun and games. As he says in his song “Sacrifices,” “…grass cut low cause all snakes don’t hiss.” Aside from this, Jackson speaks with grit and full-blown aggression in case others try to cross the line and talk sideways. Case in point, Jackson refers to himself as a menace who came to kill everything. Likewise, he compares himself to fire because he stays lit. But most importantly, the Krush’em rapper calls out those who are bluffing immediately. Nevertheless, Jackson has a soft spot for those who ride for him. His heart bleeds for Chicago and New Jersey. Not to mention, Jackson is about building his empire. He says in “Go Get It” that “me and Ben Frank, we been close. Lot of blue ink like I’m crippin too.” For the most part, Krush Jackson compiles the steps on how to enjoy your time here on Earth and what it means to hustle. Over trap–heavy beats, Jackson leaves fans crowd–surfing and doing a mean mug. Sometimes though the beats crossover to spacey synths and triggering baselines. “If you want to vibe or chill, I got that.” he says “If you want to turn up or get lit, I got that. Stress, pain, or struggle I got that.”
Krush Jackson defines himself as a superstar who is waiting to be discovered. He started getting into music at a young age. Once Jackson got into writing a few raps, it progressed as he got older. Eventually, music became his passion. Then, transformed into his therapy. “I get to express how I feel things, what I think of, my experiences, or things I want to do,” he adds. The theme of Jackson’s music has no limits. He says it’s more-so based on how he feels or what’s on his mind at the time. The rapper does diligence in mixing things up.
Jackson’s 5 track mixtape, Krush’em is an introduction to his sound. He chose this name because it’s his slogan and happens to be relatable, “When u get dressed u want to Krush’em with that outfit.” Jackson adds. One song that the rapper enjoyed making off the tape was “Turn Up.“ After dealing with a long week of adulting, it’s the perfect song to unwind to. At the same token, Jackson prepared for Krush’em by listening to several beats, testing out flows, staying in-tune with his feelings. Then, he built his hooks or verse so everything could fit together. Speaking of which, “Nyite After” was Jackson’s favorite song to create. According to the star, it’s realistic, “When you listen to it its like damn! Then, I had my girl at the end so that was fun.” Moving forward, expect 2 new projects from Jackson. He also plans on traveling and weighing in on traveling and marketing.
