Kyrie | “Best on Earth” RieMix

Baltimore bred, Kyrie has stayed busy working and it shows. Kyrie explained she felt like she was on a dry spell when it came to making music. She began creating her own remixes to stimulate her creative process. The emcee used Best On Earth by Russ and MIA for her latest RieMix. Since living in LA we have seen a few Remixes on the artist’s YouTube. Once the video was recorded by Kyrie’s roommate, VicPhotoCo, she went home and edited the video herself. The self-engineered track was recorded in Kyrie’s house. Her strong lyricism catches my attention every time, with bars like:

“Who Let me out?

I’m spitting venomous rage,

I’m a female, gotta protect my energy with the sage”
