According to Lord Enos, he drew inspiration from his spiritual connection to the Most High while creating his latest project. When he drops music, the rapper aims to educate his audience while simultaneously providing historical information. If this sounds like a lot, it’s more reason to experience “Willie Lynch Syndrome” for yourself.
Once I started walking down the path of enlightenment, I realized that my mission was to be a messenger for the Most High, – Lord Enos.
Another interesting aspect of “Willie Lynch Syndrome” is that Lord Enos collaborated with his nephew to produce the project. Each beat on the EP was produced by DeAndreOnDaBeat, a gifted musician who has an astute understanding of Lord Enos’ style. Although each beat on the project has a similar overall feel, DeAndreOnDaBeat does an excellent job tweaking small elements to implement unique characteristics.
Regarding the cold rhythms featured in “Willie Lynch Syndrome,” each is packed with dark, sinister tones that generate a white-hot fire in your heart. On top of that, heavy bass patterns give each track a pulsing foundation that never wavers. If you’re into ominous rap featuring beats with overlapping elements, then “Willie Lynch Syndrome” is the move.
Of course, a rhythm is only as good as the vocals that compliment it. That said, Lord Enos is elevated when forming heavy lyrics with a commanding flow. Like Tech N9ne, the rapper delivers every bar with aggression and passion that you can feel through the speakers. Lord Enos’ commitment and love for his music are impossible to miss throughout “Willie Lynch Syndrome.”
“Lord” is a meaning for Prophet, and a Prophet is a messenger. And “Enos” was one of the first sons in the old testament – Lord Enos.
What’s more impressive is that Lord Enos has only been making his signature style of music for a year. Despite such a short time in the game, the rapper has a natural feel for how beats move. Also, his lyrics are rich with meaning, adding to the palpable devotion to the craft.
Rap Fiesta‘s favorites from the project include “Lawman” and “Pain.” The former introduces the project, and it’s nothing short of perfect. From the jump, Lord Enos familiarizes his listeners with his rap style, passions, and signature flow. The rhythm carries the dark, heavy energy felt throughout the project and prepares you for all the texture that’s about to come.
In terms of “Pain,” the rapper puts his musical versatility on display. Lord Enos proves he can do it all, from a smooth R&B-like chorus to rapid bars jumping through the speakers. Again, the rhythm wraps your ears in the dark, hypnotizing energy, with complementing lighter hi-hats. Overall, the track embodies the balance between different musical elements and styles.
Lord Enos’ future plans are simple; he’s striving to continue spreading his message and reaching as broad an audience as possible. Make sure you follow the Lord Enos on Instagram to stay updated on his upcoming projects!
