Mont3ga | “Goat”, Harlem’s Villain
Mont3ga‘s Single “Goat” highlights his Harlem style and MAMBA mentality. Rap Fiesta is always excited to show case New York bred artists.
Mont3ga is an artist born and raised in Harlem, New York. He started his music career in 2016 and his persistent work ethic allowed him to produce 10 projects in 4 years. Mont3ga’s most recent projects are “Live Mont3ga, Die Mont3ga” and “LMDM 2.0.”
One of my personal favorites from Mont3ga is “Vinny Mac.” “Vinny Mac” is a fun, upbeat dance song about being confident like Vince McMahon of WWE fame. The track showcases Mont3ga’s New York sound and is fun to listen to. The track also shows Mont3ga’s ability to adapt to a beat and switch up his sound. He stands out of the New York artists who have come out in the past year. Mont3ga is able to deliver drill energy that you get from artists like Mr. Swipey and Fivio Foreign, but use a completely different flow that is all his own. In “Goat” Mont3ga shows off a more laid back style of rapping that fits the mood of the beat.
Mont3ga is setting the tone for a new New York sound that is beyond Brooklyn Drill. We’re ready for the Harlem Villian to take over.
