Nac | “Camp Limbic”, Never Ceases To Impress
New Jersey’s very own Nac is back with his latest powerful album, “Camp Limbic“. The 7 track album is impressively put together with a plethora of vibes, highlighted by beautiful production and Nac’s vocal prowess. From the get-go, “Camp Limbic” reminds us of a futuristic sound akin to Logic’s “Under Pressure” and “TITS” with the recurrence of pioneering AI that highlights the sonic progression. Nac let the whole arsenal show on this latest project- from tracks like “Reach Out” that melodically woo you to rapid-cadence attacks with “On and On“. “Camp Limbic” is grand continuation of his previous album “The Midnight Album” which previously made headlines on Rap Fiesta.
“Tell me everything. You don’t gotta hold back… Tell me all your pain.” – Nac
We’d be amiss if we didn’t introduce you to our favorite track on the project “Reach Out“. Nac takes a totally different approach on this record with a silky, soft vocal that leads you to a trance. There’s a sense of serenity you achieve from bumping this record, and it’s the perfect track to let loose and unwind to. Nac reached new heights with “Camp Limbic”. He’s demonstrated an ability to craft witty song-writing and gel it into catchy symphonies.
We all love an introspective album, and Nac excels in this regard beautifully. His vulnerabilities are out in the open for every listener to feel and draw from. Those exacts emotions are touched on “Digital Fire” with Nac diving into a whole new genre with acoustic-chord production. He’s strives away from the Hip-Hop sounding theme of “Camp Limbic” and delivers a powerful, poignant soft-rock sound. It’s impressive to see this type of diversity from a Hip-Hop artist but Nac is clearly showing on “Camp Limbic” that he can’t be boxed in.
On the outro record, “Wait For Heaven“, you’ll be exposed to angelic sounds. From a production and engineering stand point, this project is phenomenal. The beginning vocals at this record will uplift you to a point where you feel like you’re levitating. What’s even more impressive is the fact that Nac has no features on this project and carried the entirety of this project off of his own muscle. That’s no small feat. Overall, there’s so much to enjoy on “Camp Limbic”and Nac dishes out a record for every type of listener to get delight in. You’ll be hard-pressed to miss “Camp Limbic” and will be thanking yourself later for tuning in.
