The track, produced and mixed by Eternal Stellar Sounds and Wellz, includes a beat influenced by trap, R&B, and rock sounds. Niya Elan’s stage name is a slightly altered version of her birth-given name. She attests that her name means a great deal to her because her mother named and raised her. The smooth musician pays homage to her mother, who passed away when Niya Elan was only 17 years old, with her stage name.
The ‘Put in Work’ singer has been creating her own music ever since she can remember. In high school, Niya Elan started to take her music career more seriously, getting a job to pay for beats and studio time to develop her craft.
Although Niya Elan was born in New York, she considers other places around the U.S. to be home. She grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida, but also visits parts of California often.
