Born in Queens, NY, Prince Black has been writing music since he was only 12 years of age and recording on his laptop at 14, but really began to record professionally with his cousin at 16. Black being his actual last name, he gains inspiration for Prince through two meanings: Where he was born and raised and from a conversation with his father growing up.
