Pyrex Pryce | ‘2x’
Fresh out of the studio, “2x” is a single demonstrating Pyrex Pryce‘s continued evolution and growing confidence as he comes into his own as an artist. Pryce treats his fanbase to his signature silky-smooth delivery, while introducing them to a new chapter in his music career. His voice exudes more confidence. His rhyme schemes have another layer of intricacy. The result is simply captivating. I hear an artist who may not know where his musical train is taking him, but he knows it’s left the station, and with a hell of a lot of steam.
“Me and the money and drip we the perfect lil triangle just like the ’05 Lakers, I’m a certified hitmaker, got a bad white vibe Miss Baker, Deuce crib gon’ be sittin on acres. One day Imma go and get a hellcat drift for this shit like a boat with no anchor, if you doubted on me nigga thank you.”
In his earlier music, Pryce’s soothing melody would appear to be his calling card. His flow is effortless and his “no care in the world” vibe is infectious. What is really exciting, however, is his rapid evolution; Pryce’s newer songs exhibit incredible lyrical progression. In his more recent music, Pyrex Pryce has that same gravy-laced voice that can get females in their feelings while hinting at the lyrical aptitude necessary to spread a meaningful message through his music.
Pryce is just scratching the surface of his potential. Every new song he puts out demonstrates another rung scaled on his musical ladder; Pryce is never stagnant. In “2x” it’s the lyrical progression. In “Free Will” it’s a 16-bar bridge towards the end of the song that can only be described as an artistic masterpiece.
His raw talent is undeniable. His work ethic is evident. Join the movement on the ground floor as we discover what Pyrex Pryce is truly capable of and what message he chooses to promote with his music.
