Rainboy | “Uithinkabout”
Rainboy‘s “Uithinkabout“ highlights the many sides of love at the highest degree. To put it further, “Uithinkabout” allows the singer to be vulnerable because he’d rather not leave any stones unturned. Sonically, “Uithinkabout” uses a 80’s pop soundscape that breaks free from the white noise. As it reels in light guitar riffs and a snare, the cliffhanging beat also leaves room for piano keys to intervene. Then, as “Uithinkabout” builds up, spacey synths get added into the equation and go off in their own direction from start to end. On the other hand, Rainboy uses a light, clear note range that’s prone to pull some heart strings. So it comes as no surprise that his lyrics splurge out like poetry. As the perfect close, Rainboy lets the guitar jam out at the two minute mark. In return, the chords cry with agony to show that everybody hurts.
