That’s right, Rey‘s “El Bloké” is pretty much entirely sung in Spanish. However, whether you speak the language or not, Rey gets you vibing either way. What inspired my song was the musical production, first and foremost. I was also inspired by my neighborhood – Rey.
The beat featured in “El Bloké,” produced by Yahor Sharenda, delivers just as much dynamic energy as Rey does. Initially, the rhythm gives off a spooky energy that is complemented by other elements soon after. Overall, the beat contains a lot of dark energy brought forth by the numerous elements incorporated into its structure. That said, “El Bloké” has an almost overwhelming amount of texture that will immediately catch your attention.
By no means is Rey new to the music game. The Bronx artist has been crafting gems like “El Bloké” since 2003, continuing to grow each year. So, it’s clear why Rey‘s latest track is such a heater; he’s been developing his sound over several years. Not only does this speak to Rey‘s commitment to music, but it also shows how he’s innovated throughout the years.
