Saturn Mcarty | “Outer Space”, Raw and Remarkable

Saturn Mcarty, born in Jonesboro Georgia but raised in Riverdale, brings the heat on ‘Outer Space’ – a colorful track with a slap of 808’s. Saturn also goes by his alter ego Lando and is a self-made, self-taught artist who is extremely proficient within the producing, songwriting, and mixing facets of creating music. He show’s his talent on ‘Outer Space’ – dropping tidbits of his personal life, relationships, and experiences that help present the artist he is today.
Being involved in music from a young age, Saturn would write pages of rhymes but eventually began to take on an interest in producing after learning the basics from his cousin, who is also a producer and rapper. ‘Outer Space’ draws its inspiration from a low period in Saturn’s life, but used this time to produce a very natural, airy feeling sound that’s sure to help uplift the listener’s spirits.
‘Outer Space’ begins with the instrumental playing out before the 808’s drop and Saturn Mcarty attacks the beat with ferocity. Picking the pockets with precision, Saturn expertly rides the beat as he speaks on his enemies not valuing their life and that they must be sure not to cross the line. In his second verse, Saturn turns up the heat by switching up his flow, as the beat temporarily changes with him, allowing Saturn to shine throughout the track. Saturn caps off the track with a chorus, speaking on a multitude of topics such as being tied down, seeking the truth, and a sprinkle of politics. Throughout the entirety of the tract, Saturn shows off some of his producing skills by subtly mixing in adlibs structuring his verse around those adlibs, leaving no dull moments throughout this track.
