Savage Fric | ‘SAY SO’, The Saudi Sensation
Get ready to strap up your private jet, we’re going international with this next heater. Savage Fric out of Saudi Arabia laid down an absolute banger with his latest release ‘SAY SO‘ in a climatic fashion. We’re not going to lie, when we heard Savage’s voice he had a sprinkle of Lil Yachty and the elegance of a seasoned pro. It’s hard to believe that this is his second release, actually mind blown by the fact. He sounds like he’s been making bangers for a while. That being said, this track is oozing with potential. ‘Say So’ just might be the song that changes Savage’s life, similar to what White Iverson did for Post Malone. International super stardom is coming up full throttle for the melodious artist.
We could’ve gone to the moon. Stay by my side, but you went out and f*cked it up. People say gone too soon, f*ck it I guess I’ma get bread and count it up. Big stacks, ice wrist, star shit.
The NextLane produced instrumental is everything you want and more. With slow build ups playing on suspense, and rattling hi hats that play into Savage’s candy like vocal, he has a summer smash within his grasp. Savage has what a lot of artists don’t have, and this is something that honestly, no artist can get- and it’s an accent. His Saudi accent mixed with his fluency in English sounds so enticing, especially because he spits like he’s been making hits for years. When you hear his verse, you’ll be replaying it back like LeBron’s 2013 dunk on Jason Terry. Straight nasty. (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, definitely google that)
If you say so
Baby don’t forget the shit I paid for
Why you acting so ungrateful?
The song was inspired by Savage’s past relationship from his ex girl cheating on him. Boy, did she mess up. It’s rumored that said ex girlfriend is trying to get back in good graces with the rising star, but we all know how that goes. That situation is addressed directly by the soul ripping chorus from DUVO, who lets the world know what the ladies are missing out on. Without being too flattering, the chorus on this song is straight up addictive. It’s almost as if the airy articulations are enlaced in ecstasy. Your dopamine levels are going to be uncontrollable after this listen. You might want to advise a doctor first.
The most impressive part about Savage has to be the fact that he’s only 7 months in the game. It’s only his second release, and his track ‘Pop’ is just as fire. If he keeps this momentum going it’s going to be scary. Some people just have the talent naturally and don’t need to refine it as much, he’s one of the gifted. With a record deal in the near future, and his global fanbase stimulating his growth, Rap Fiesta is absolutely sure we’ll be seeing more from the Saudi sensation soon. Do yourself a favor and help start the wave, before all your friends hop on it.
