Skippa Da Flippa (feat. Young Thug) [Prod by. Murda Beatz & Jaque Beatz] | Move
To say that Skippa Da Flippa has been making moves would be an absolute understatement. After recently moving to Los Angeles, the rapper has released an impressive string of singles prior to the release of his up and coming project.
His newest single, ‘Move,’ features Young Thug who is on the heels of his highly acclaimed, ‘So Much Fun’ album. Per usual, Skippa emphatically delivers his incredibly smooth and one of a kind flows over an instrumental that could be created by producers Murda Beatz and Jaque Beatz.
Young Thug lends two verses to the song as the duo bounce infectious adlibs off each other. After collaborating on fan favorites such as, ‘Would Ya,’ from the, ‘Still Havin,’ project, and having been friends for over 6 years, the collaboration came about effortlessly as they recorded the song in Atlanta. The bass-heavy, simplistic beat is complimented by Flippa’s back and forth with Young Thug as they lyrically dance all over the production.
When asked about his inspiration behind the song Flippa said, ‘The song is what I’m on now — working, staying focused, and not letting anything get in the way of that.’
With Flippa’s, ‘Still Havin 2,’ on the way, Rap Fiesta highly suggests keep your ear to the streets.
