“Sneakers,” produced by Taylor King, embodies a light, airy, summer-like vibe. The start of the beat features a playful melody that bounces through the speakers. Then, at about the 30-second mark, the beat really starts kicking with a deep, bumping bass pattern you’ll just have to bop to.
One intriguing detail featured in the “Sneakers” rhythm introduces itself at the one-minute mark. At this point, Son Rob throws you completely off-guard with harmonies of angelic vocal runs. These vocal runs are only accentuated by the accompanying string instruments.
Overall, this temporary break in “Sneakers” gives off a very ethereal feel that transcends your brain waves. Additionally, it gives your mind a few moments to prepare for the upcoming fire verse from featured rapper, Maky Lavender.
