Sonyae | ‘Fkn Single’ New Hot Girl Summer Anthem
Sonyae is making sure no one is sleeping on her this summer by throwing another banger our way after, ‘Princess Goat,‘ featuring Young Thug blessed platforms in May 2019. Sonyae does it again with her latest offering, ‘Fkn Single.’ The new song may just be the new Hot Girl Summer anthem. (Sorry Meg, still love you girl).
Sonyae seamlessly flows throughout the song while simultaneously displaying her ability to free style catchy and memorable lyrics. With strong production by Cassio, and a fierce performance by Sonyae, all I can say after hearing the new song, is that every girl about to be Fkn Single.
Originally from Newark, New Jersey, Sonyae credits her East Coast upbringing to who she has become as an artist, and with both parents being artists, she is a true product of her environment. In an interview with The Homie Sydney, Sonyae goes into her creative process with songwriting, one of my favorite things about her as a creative, describing her songwriting process as, ‘free,’ because she literally freestyles the majority of her music. Sonyae has no shame in being both vulnerable and rebellious, and we can really hear that variety in her lyrics.
