I just wanted to write a song that would push my boundaries that pulled from my own experiences about drug abuse – TM47, regarding the inspiration behind his latest single.

Adding another layer to the song is, of course, TM47’s undeniable talent. The artist has a certain cadence that naturally draws you to the song and leaves you wanting to listen over and over again. Before crafting “Rainbow Road”, TM47 had never utilized his singing voice in any of his songs, which is hard to believe.

TM47 has quite a history in regards to making music, initially experimenting with making songs in 8th grade. However, it wasn’t until he started writing his first album, “Dystopia”, that TM47 began taking his music career more seriously. And although his music career started as a form of therapy to work through childhood trauma, the rapper soon realized he had an immense love for the craft and wanted to pursue it more.
The number 47 represents balance with the tension between the heart and the mind, and the second influence comes from Pokemon – TM47, regarding the origin of his stage name.
