Xavier Wulf | “First Light”
Xavier Wulf comes for his opps’ heads in “First Light.”
In two minutes, the Memphis-bred poses a threat against those who try pulling a fast one on him.
“I ain’t finna play with none of you n—as or your homies/He said he wouldn’t run, found out that was bologna,” he raps. “B—h!/Yeah n—a, hell yeah, send him off a cliff.”
The combative-ready trap beat, produced by Hitkidd, is an excellent addition to Xavier Wulf’s turbulent flow.
Similarly, the music video, directed by DotComNirvan, represents Xavier Wulf being a man of his word.
With a katana by his side, the rapper (realistically) slays his haters. Posing as a samurai in an animated short, the Blood Shore Season 3 wordsmith fights those sent to destroy him.
Elsewhere in “First Light,” he details his nonstop grind and the differences between himself and “Piccadilly eating a– n—-as talking sh-t.”
In the beginning, he spits lines like “I see the sunrise, now it’s time to keep it moving.”
Along with, “I’m headed out to eat, I just ate, but I’m hungry.”
Voicing how these average Joes can never be on his level, he raps
“They was in the club smoking only one skimp/When I get a steak, I need a side of grilled shrimp.”
“First Light” also reveals Xavier Wulf’s independence. Despite having an entourage of women within reach, he chooses to ride solo.
“She wanna pull up just cause of the accent/I don’t give a f–k, don’t give me your two cents/Imma give it to a junkie like he needed it/She looked up to me and said “You so conceited-ed.”
Xavier Wulf’s record comes off his most recent project, Blood Shore Season 3, which dropped in September.
