Young Bail ft. Kevin K. | “Problem”
Young Bail‘s new song, “Problem,” asks directly what the issue is. Through a kick/snare and upbeat tempo, Bail’s feature, Kevin K. sings the chorus, oh so softly, “Whats the problem?” and “Why you always pull up with some drama? I just want to talk about some dollars. Why you always hit me with a problem? Thats the problem. I can’t deal with all that.”
Then, Young Bail uses his signature sly, gruff voice to address the woman he’s dealing with. Supposedly, Miss Thing thinks that Bail is focused on someone else’s figure. But the jokes on her because he’s more-so trying to build up his figures. This line, for example speaks volume on his mentality, “Thinkin’ bitches all around and that’s not true/My only mission is the money, I can’t stop boo/That’s why I’m cakin’, not in no relation. Stalking on my IG to see if we datin’.” Since honesty is the best policy, Bail lets it hold weight in everything he does. However, sometimes things can get misconstrued and be taken the wrong way.
As the track moves forward, Bail speaks about a party that his friend ends up throwing. From the jump, Bail sees lil mama steppin’, and alas, she assumes that he’s being mischievous. After seeing her petty side, Bail concludes that she was only concerned with his art rather than his heart.
Next, “Problem” uses the ending to reiterate whats been lingering on the duo’s mind. Altogether, the song possesses both an R&B and hip-hop vibe that’ll surely get listeners involved in this lover’s quarrel.
